Meet the Team

Abby

Dental Bookkeeper

Abby works in our front office, where she answers the phone, makes appointments, takes care of our bookkeeping, and assists patients with their insurance needs. With us for more than 20 years, Abby has enjoyed getting to know our patients and seeing their beautiful smiles after the braces come off.

Abby is married with three children with whom she loves spending time. She also enjoys going to the movies and shopping in her free time.

Carol

Receptionist

As our receptionist, Carol answers the phones, schedules appointments, and files insurance claims. Beginning with our office in 1999, Carol has been a great help to make our patients and their families feel at home when they’re with us. She finds great satisfaction in seeing their wonderful new smiles!

At home, Carol enjoys spending time with her children, Alfredo, Jackie, and Shaylah. Her hobbies are arts and crafts, shopping, family gatherings, and watching movies.

Laura

Receptionist

I work in the front office and greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with the financial contracts.

In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, riding my motorcycle, and spending time with my two children watching movies or taking walks to the beach.

Maria

Receptionist

Maria works in the front where as a receptionist where she answers the phone, schedules appointments, and helps the patients. Maria has been working with Dr. Connolly for two years and has been enjoying helping our patients.

I have four kids Jesse, Kimberly, R.J. and Kenny and also two granddaughters Alaya & Leilani whom I enjoy spending all my time with. I also love to go to church where I am blessed to have so many beautiful people around me.

Be has 30 years of dental experience. He favorite part of working at Dr. Connolly’s office is the one on one with patients and seeing their beautiful smiles at the end of treatment.

Her hobbies include sunbathing, spending time with her daughter and family, and shopping.

Margarita

Registered Dental Assistant

Hello my name is Margarita, one of Dr. Connolly’s orthodontic assistants. I have 30 years in the field of Dentistry, I have provided healthcare in several different types of practices such as General, Prosthodontics, Pediatrics and my personal favorite Orthodontics. I absolutely love my profession as a Registered Dental Assistant.

It brings so much joy to care for my patients, my compassion and enthusiasm in giving my best to my patients is a pleasure. I am technically proficient understanding what is required as a dental assistant and deeply care about the health and well-being of others.

I have 4 beautiful adult daughters and 2 granddaughters, I feel so very blessed. I absolutely love living in Santa Cruz, some of my hobbies are crafting, refurbishing furniture, jewelry making and listening to live music. Family is my priority, I love to spend time on the beach with my girls and my fur babies.

Yesenia

Dental Assistant

Yesenia has been an assistant in our offices for 3 years now. She has been in the dental field for 8 years and is currently in the process of becoming an RDA. She had first started working in the general dental field but Orthodontics has become her favorite. Getting to help every patient reach the end of treatment and seeing their new smiles make her feel very proud to be an assistant.

Yesenia’s priority is her son so of course spending quality time with him is very important. She also enjoys being with her family and friends whenever she can. Going to the beach, gym and of course some concert fun is always a good time.

Ana

Sterilization Technician

Ana is our sterilization tech who ensures all of our instruments are sterilized and set out, ready for each patient. She is in charge of ordering our supplies for every office and making sure everything is stocked. If the assistants need extra hands with things such as developing x-rays and setting up brackets, she is there to help. Ana calls on patients and leads them to their chair for each appointment. It is one of her favorite tasks as she gets to see everyone’s great smiles both before and after treatment.

In her free time Ana enjoys going to concerts, trying new food spots, hiking and hanging with her friends. She is a proud Auntie who loves spending most of her free time with her nieces, nephews and god daughter.
